  Non-AI, Non-NS Japanese of the English Teacher in Japan: Exploring Instructional Speech in the English Classroom
■ Outline
  The research aims to explore six Japanese-speaker English teachers' instructional speech (IS), identifying non-AI (artificial intelligence), and non-NS (native English speaker) Japanese spoken in English classes. Many English teachers find it challenging to achieve skills-based, English-mediated instruction. The results showed that non-AI and non-NS IS help cut Japanese and boost English IS with AI technology, as well as with the aid of NS teachers.
