On the Sishu Mengyin in the Collection of Department of History and Culture, Faculty of Literature, Daito Bunka University: With a Discussion on How Ancient Manuscripts Should Be Managed and Administered

■ Outline
  In this paper, the author explained how "Sishu-Mengyin" was held by Department of History and Culture, Faculty of Literature, Daito Bunka University, and explained the basic information of this book. And furthermore, the author asked questions about how old books should be managed and used. This book was originally kept in the Daito Bunka University Library, but was discarded. However, due to the nature of the text and its provenance, it should not had been discarded. In this paper, the author also discussed how ancient manuscripts should be managed and administered. the author sincerely hope that in the future, this type of disposal will not occur, and that the book in our collection will be used effectively.
