On Goi Ranshu's Diagram Based on the "Zhongyong"

  In this article I essay a reconstruction of a diagram based on the "Zhongyong"("Chuyo tenmeisei zu" ) by the Edo-period Confucian Goi Ranshu and examine its distinctive features. This diagram is no longer extant, but it can be reconstructed on the basis of a detailed description in the "Ranshu sensei Chuyo tenmeisei zukai".
